Here come the (popular) girls

Hello all, it's been a very busy week - hopefully one of the last ones, but opportunities to work on the game or even post here about it have been extremely limited, much more so that I'd hoped by now.  Still, I've had chance to do a bit of work on one new scene, above we have Malia, Melanie and Angel striding purposefully somewhere.

Being a popular girl at Alancia's can be a demanding position, the pressure to stay ahead of events, keeping notes on everyone around you, and in particular who likes who, what different girl's secrets are and where their pressure points can be found (figuratively speaking, since physical violence is way beneath these privileged young women,) is a time-consuming and stressful task.

However, it's well worth doing.  Girls who are able to get themselves into this clique become untouchable.  No one at the school (except, more recently, Poppy,) dares mess with them, not even the bad girls.  The information and resources they command would make it social suicide.  

They are even able to use the power they have amassed to avoid punishment by the teachers.  Since so many girls owe favours or some other form of fealty to them, they can even have these girls admit to misbehaviour that was theirs and take a punishment on their behalf if their control over them is strong enough.

Indeed, for those so completely under their control that there is no realistic way out, the only path left is de-facto slavery.  It is not known how many girls the popular girls exert this degree of control over, because they do not normally publicly humiliate their thralls or force them into sexual servitude unless their transgression was especially bad.

The fourth year popular girls have mastered this art, while the second and third years are still learning it.  The younger first year popular girls, Becky, Sherry and Megan are only just starting on this path, but will soon be every bit as dangerous and untouchable as Malia and her friends.  Only time will tell if they will learn to use this power responsibly.
