I am having an incredibly enjoyable time developing Prey Hero.
The expertise gained from developing Struggle Simulator has been effectively applied, resulting in smooth animations and significantly streamlining my workflow.
The reason Prey Hero is not being released as a free version yet is that the game follows a "story-driven format," and it hasn't been developed enough to qualify as a "demo version." While it will take a bit more time to reach a form complete enough for a free demo release, I believe I can confidently say that it will be available "soon"!
The development of Struggle Simulator is currently on hold, and the main reason, in short, is my burnout. To create a single piece of content—for example, "Belly Struggle"—the process requires an incredible amount of work, including producing a staggering 80 pieces of artwork. After that, an additional 10+ pieces of artwork need to be completed before the actual development process can even begin. Integrating 2–3 pieces of such content into the game every month proved to be nearly impossible. Despite my efforts to reduce the time spent on artwork, it ultimately led to the pause in the development of Struggle Simulator.
Although Struggle Simulator was halted due to poor time management during development, the successful reduction in art workload achieved with Prey Hero makes me believe that Struggle Simulator 2 could become a reality. Next time, I’m determined to create a truly polished game! To make that happen, the challenges of Prey Hero are absolutely essential!
...Finally, to commemorate the final plans of this year in December, I will share various development histories with you. Below, I’ll outline this month’s plans.
< Prey Hero 0.2 Plan >
Add "Scene Auto-Play" Feature
Players will be able to press the 'A' key during a scene to let it progress randomly without needing to engage in "Struggle."
Add "Non-NSFW Option"
A feature will be implemented to automatically skip NSFW scenes for those who prefer not to view them.
Add "NSFW Option"
Additional detailed scenes, such as more intricate digest or disposal sequences, will be included for specific scenes.
That’s it! Let’s have another great month together—thank you for your continued support!
