Hey y’all! It’s been a while since the last update, but don’t worry – I’ve been grinding hard on the next big thing. The game is moving to a new level: version 0.1!
I had to rewrite the entire game from scratch, and while it took a lot of time, it was totally worth it. This overhaul makes everything more polished and opens up a lot of room for future improvements. That’s why things have been dragging a bit, but I’m hoping to release this update soon, and fingers crossed, you’ll love it.
No enemy AI yet: Yeah, enemies aren’t implemented, there’s no proper dialogue system, no death mechanics, and the hentai is only available as animations for now.
Some Sucrose model issues: I ran into some problems with tweaking her model, but it’s getting there.
Empty-ish dungeons: The dungeon layouts may feel a bit plain and repetitive, but don’t worry – that’ll be improved in future updates.
However, there’s one thing I’m guaranteeing with this version: a proper tutorial. No more confusion, no more guesswork – everything will be smooth and easy to grasp.
Inventory system: Fully working.
Procedurally generated dungeons: Similar to games like Lethal Company or Pilgrim, though still a work in progress.
Trading system: Semi-functional but getting there.
Teleportation between maps: Fully functional.
Semi-procedural character animations: Adds a more dynamic feel to gameplay.
In this update, enemies won’t just “use” you anymore – they’ll be ruthless, and traps will be deadly too. But don’t worry, the hentai scenes aren’t gone; they’re just tied to the new mechanics.
Here’s how it works:
You’ve been captured by the Abyss Order, and they force you to retrieve dangerous items from deadly dungeons. These items contain energy, which acts as currency for trade and story progression. However, if you die, the Abyss Order revives you using a rune – but at a price. Losing your collected items means punishment, which leads to hentai scenes as a form of… well, “discipline.”
While version 0.1 will be a bit simpler compared to earlier versions like 0.0.5, I have big plans for future updates, including:
Skins: Different outfits for the character and even tattoos.
Housing: A place of your own to customize and upgrade.
Hilichurl interactions: Expect side quests and more world-building with these little guys.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on a couple of things:
Lighting: Does it look better than before? Too bright? Too dark? Or just right?
Animations: Do they feel smooth enough? Or do they still look awkward?
I really hope you enjoyed the preview and that you’ll like this new version – even though it’s quite different from what you’ve seen before.
Stay tuned, and thanks for sticking around!
