Seeing a bit of Zeke's upbringing really has helped me understand exactly how rough his childhood was and some surprising similarities between him and Eren. Zeke's master plan to save Eldia is absolutely shocking and I am NOT on board! But now that he has blown himself to pieces, is this the end of Zeke?!

2024-02-22 15:00:24 +0000 UTCMr. Ksaver isn’t the original beast titan. He’s just the preceding beast titan to Zeke. Remember the 9 titans have been around and passed down for 1,800ish years. Mr. Ksaver says he became the beast titan to do research, to access prior beast titan memories and learn different information. Zeke was dropped off at his grandparents to be watched while Grisha and Dina went to go do “restorationist” stuff (under the guise of social dance club). While being watched the grandpa taught the Marleyan version of history. Also, as Mr. Ksaver mentioned, a titan with royal blood needs to come in contact with the founding titan. Zeke is the key (royal blood) that opens the lock (allows Eren to access the founding powers and use them). That’s why Zeke told Eren about the euthanization plan. He needs Eren to make all Eldians unable to bear children (with no more children the Eldians will just all die off eventually). At the end Levi was saying he was taking Zeke to be fed to someone (doesn’t specify - probably a soldier loyal to the government) so they can get rid of Zeke and pass the Beast Titan on and ruin Zeke/Eren’s plans.
