Just A Little 2024 Catch Up

Hey! It's been a little while since I've posted over here something a bit more on-the-fly and since we're a wee bit late on Augustine pages (you'll get them tomorrow or Thursday, we've got a whole new batch for ya we've been chipping away at)--I figured I'd take the chance to kinda catch up on a few things here :>

AUGUSTINE -- We're back and cookin! Tas has pretty much caught up to all the thumbnails I had in the wings so I have to get working on the last of those for Chapter 2! We're maybe 60-ish pages off the end of the chapter and hoooping to get it all done before we're neck-deep in Tas' second graphic novel (more on that later~). We're a biit behind where we want to be right now but working as fast as we can considering the heat & just trying to take breaks during the summer yadda yadda.

PAINT THE TOWN RED -- I'm working on a short story right now but once that's done I'll be chipping into Volume 4~ I was originally re-inking the first volume... its a lot of work so things are a bit slower to progress as we work on a bunch of More Current Things.

THE SANITY CIRCUS -- Same kind of deal as PTTR. Its a bit in the wings until we can get some spare time to sit down and do it (mostly Tas would like to add a couple illustrations and until we get a couple other things off our plate it's floating a bit in the ether).

So essentially we're waiting on feedback from Tas' editor to get the Green Light on working on The Graphic Novel ( THE CURSE OF BLACKWOOD MANOR) This is kind of priority #1 since we're on contract (also .... the paycheck...;; ) We're hoping once we're headlong into it we'll be able to show off a bit of the progress here to give you all a bit more to peep at.

OTHERWISEeeee lets see...

I've been working on 2 things --

1- A script for a graphic novel I'm looking to pitch around. I can't say too much about it until it goes on submission/gets picked up... its not that its NDA just that I'm a bit precious about developing ideas! I'm hoping I'll be able to talk about it... Soon. The script is done for this one, I got caught up in a bit of an inspiration frenzy and spent a week hashing it out. Now I'm poking at assembling a pitch packet around all the other work I gotta do LOL.

2- Since finishing that script (and to keep in the writing groove) I've been experimenting with writing a little erotica (the two of us are itching to do a biiit more NSFW type stuff and since we're looking to assemble Prism Knights permanently into a softcover anthology.... we were sad to see the small format disappear with them so I've been testing the waters with a new prose concept we've been dubbing MONSTER BITES where I'm writing oneshot monsterfucking erotica with.... maaaaybe some sketches from Tas (energy and time depending). It's been a lot of fun taking a crack at this. I'll definitely be posting screengrabs & PDF downloads here for folks to read on the NSFW tiers <3 My first foray into this nonsense is Knight x Dragon x Princess since I've gotten a LOT of excited feedback from folks about Sapphire and remembered how fun that story was for me to write :P

That leaves a lot of our... Other Projects a bit in limbo here at the moment. Most of the ones we've brought up here:

• FROM HELL'S HEART (moby dykes)

• LAB PARTNERS

Are all Comics so they take up relatively the same amount of brainspace as what's already on our to-do list (literally why aren't there MORE hours in a day I swear) so we're having to stall on a couple of these until we can bounce back from a couple of our other comics mentioned above.

Plus we're juggling a bit with the two crowdfunding campaigns we launched this spring (7 Deadly Pins is 80% fulfilled now so that's a huge weight off our shoulders too).

Essentially we're just a couple of clowns with 50 balls in the air! Things are still in the works around here, we're just caught up doing a lot of admin (boring business-y things) so our schedules are a bit outta whack (but hopefully you all should be seeing a bit More from us in the next little while)!
