A little Holiday Post~!

Hey hey folks! Its been a little while! I know December has been pretty quiet on our end (I'm not really sure when I'm going to hit post on this so if its before the holidays-- HAPPY HOLIDAYS-- if its AFTER the holidays-- I hope your holidays were filled with good food, safety and warmth.... that's all we could ever hope for in these tumultuous times).

I'm sure its no surprise, 2023 has been a pretty godawful year for a lot of the art community, a lot of my friends have really gone through it. We've all been holding pieces together.

I want to take this moment to really just... thank you. For trusting in us. For pledging early. For believing in the work that we're making. It's been a tough year but it's a lot of incredible folks like you who have helped keep our stories going.

We, as always, have a lot of starry-eyed plans but we're going to try and keep the goals for 2024 on some sort of track. So here's a little of what you can expect next year:

- Continue & Finish Augustine Chapter 2
- Draft the script for PTTR V4 & Thumbnails
- Finish Sancirc
- Blackwood process??
- Continued work on theMaM
- A couple funky little merch projects. Stay tuned~

We are also making a couple additions to our Patreon tiers. We haven't removed any of the ones as they currently exist, those tiers will still remain and still offer exactly what they've always offered. We WILL be adding a couple bonus tiers, however, so our current selection looks something like this:
- $5 Off the Shelf (scooted the name around) -- Early Page Access only
- $7 What's in the Back? (formerly known as 'off the shelf') Same rewards: early pages, WIPs & shop discount)
- $11 Mail Order (all previous rewards + a small mail item, either a sticker sheet or postcard once a month)
- $14 Under the Table (Same rewards, no mail items for those who just want to support digitally).
- $19 Gimme the Goods (All previous goodies, may occasionally include spicier postcards/stickers/paper goods)!

We're giving folks here the heads-up first but the mail-rewards wont go out until end of January. The mail rewards right now are not going to be Patreon exclusive until we can get enough supporters here to make that feasible (minimum 25). Figured we'd be candid about that part.

We also, i think completely forgot to give you all the shop promo for December (yeesh what gives??) So we're giving you this one for 30% off your purchase until the end of January.

(for those who missed our speedy post made a couple days ago).

We're doing a lot of 'online renovating' at the moment, cleaning up our socials, working on buffers and sprucing up spaces like our Patreon here. I'm about to shift over and fix our pinned Goals post to account for some easier goals to hit! Also! We've hit $100 before the end of the year and we really want to celebrate that!! 

Otherwise, in January we should be kicking things back into a proper schedule and testing the waters for a few months with a few existing sticker sheets we have in the shop for the physical goods tiers, so if any of those are to your fancy, feel free to hop to a goodies-related tier! We'll let you know each month before we ship things out what the new goodies will be before they're sent out.

That being said... I also wanted to let folks know that our shop has had a bit of a pricing overhaul and a bit of a spruce up. We're in a recession, and for a long time the two of us have been treading water trying to keep bills paid and sorted. We, obviously, still have to do that haha, there's no getting around capitalism. But we're also working on ways to keep our stories accessible so we're lowering the prices of our PDFs (we're also in the process of taking stock of which PDFs the shop is missing atm, there are a couple but we'll be putting them up as soon as we can get them sorted). We're also looking to move some stock and make way for some new work we'd like to make.... so that means...we've also dropped the prices for our enamel pins, we're not phasing enamel pins out of our merch lines entirely but we're definitely pairing down and looking to work with a more local manufacturer for future designs. We've been making great strides in finding places that are either within the country or at least eco-friendly/sustainable to work with.

We're both working pretty hard behind the scenes here. December has been filled with a lot of research and brainstorming between holiday shopping and parties. I can't believe December went by as quickly as it did!  It's almost like we don't really get a break running a small business like we do but we're making it work.

We're both looking forward to 2024 and hoping to make it much brighter than our year this year. We already have some good news: we've been accepted into Calgary Expo, TCAF, MCAF and MTLCC for a lot of our usual staples. We're hoping to really beef out that roster this year of conventions.

We ALSO.... have a few interesting crowdfunding projects planned~~ But more on that next month!

Though 2023 was rough we're trying to stay focused and positive for the next year. Thanks for sticking around and thank you for trusting what we do.
