Updoots!
Added 2019-10-08 06:42:59 +0000 UTCWork on the chapter continues! I must admit I've been in a funk the past two weeks. I can't explain it, and certainly can't excuse it. It's been a struggle simply to get out of bed, and i've spent a lot of hours staring at my screen with my mind blanked out. You guys deserve better than that, and I'm workin on it!
It's not all bad news and gloom though. I finished paying the final installment to the professional editor, and i'm trying to convert the finished, edited and revised document of Skyclad into an ebook. My first attempt was unreadable, and if any of you guys have some recommendations for document conversion software, please let me know! The book was written with each chapter being it's own google docs file, and then archived into one single word document for the editor. somehow, when i try to go back from word, to google docs, and from there to epub or mobi, something gets screwed up and there's all sorts of formatting errors, mismatched chapter headers, and other gross things that i hate seeing in an ebook. I'm really drawing a loss here, so any advice would be appreciated.
Back to the matter of scheduling!
RR has caught up to the patreon chapters, and we can't have that! I've burned through my buffer, so posting to royalroad.com and scribblehub are officially on hold until patreon is a month ahead. I managed to stay 2-3 chapters up for all of last year, and there's no reason i can't do it again if i can just get some momentum built up. I'm working on the meeting between Hanz and Jacob now, with a little action in the mix along with it. I'll have more info in the next couple days when the chapter goes up:)

If you're having issues with the file, you might need to go back to basics. Copy the entire file into Notepad as plain text. Then repaste that into Word. Read Smashwords formatting requirements, they are very good and if you use them, you'll get 95% of the way to actually having a readable print file too. In fact, if you ignore the header issues with print files, you should be able to use the ebook file for print (with new ISBN, etc.)
