Great chapter! The entire conversation with Rhaena was really nice and it certainly opens the door for interesting implications in how House Targaryen interacts with him. Coryanne's confusion on how he showed off his burning effect was also pretty funny. On another note, he started proving his word that he's "mighty as none other", SO Alyssane would be glad to see her first issued 'Quest' as a Queen can be completed.

What a blast 47 pages are a good treat, nice chapter all in all, politics and court intrigue warped with some combat Currently he is just stretching the itch in combat I assume? Is he near as good as Redguard blademasters? I do wonder~ probably less specced for direct sword combat as actual Redguard blademasters that spends decades on one art but still he is used to things being on another magnitude of level or skills, vampires that lived for centuries might just randomally have the experience of centuries of sword combat training because one of them liked it

She just screams and panics because itās a strange man/demon which nearly killed her dragon with his bare hands.

Hopefully we get a tacky training montage in the near future where MC speedruns teaching the local dragon population how to cuss in Dovahzul.

With all this focus on Ysmir, I hope that Aerea will soon catch him with his helmet off, but wouldn't be surprised if he manages to preserve his faceless reputation. Not surprised at Ysmir's weird little smile in reaction to Rhaena resisting the heat of his blood. If she can handle that, then that means she can handle whatever he has to give without burning up. The dragonborn was already waxing poetry about her looks, so with the knowledge that she's one of the few ladies in the world that can comfortably bed him, I don't imagine he'll let the opportunity run away from him. It remains to be seen if going ahead means he's courting death though, as Coryanne would be so inclined to believe.
