He still went too far but not as far as "flower" implies. One of the lines Myne has totalled in the Temple's expense sheets is "flowers of the Gods". The expenses the church spends buying clothes and accessories for the women they sell to nobles. This is a big part of why Gunther was so mad. The temple is a brothel. The commoners don't know for sure that the nobles do that but there are a lot of rumors about in in the lower city. Myne is too young to hear about these things. It's considered inappropriate to discuss bedroom things with children under 10 years old so she currently has no clue she begged her dad to let her become a noble's plaything.
