Military Checkpoint - Release

Greetings Adventurers!

This is the first of our November map releases with the Patron-voted theme of Military/War (and City/Towns coming up). As mentioned before, I will be taking a leave of absence for about a week, so I wanted to get something out prior to my departure. For this one, I went with a military checkpoint to start it off with!

The base map releasing to the Barbarian tier takes place in a cool autumn type of day where the colors are shifting in the trees and surrounding areas. The checkpoint is crafted out of wood with sharpened palisades fortifying the defensive posture of the wall. Beyond the wall would be the camp site that houses the various guards that would be found posted along this checkpoint. As this would serve as probably a secondary route, this particular checkpoint may not be as heavily guarded as one found along the main route to a major city.

The Death Knight tier turns into a night time siege variant (which was actually decided upon by the Patrons of this community!). The front gate has been completely destroyed inward by a battering ram while simultaneously catapults launch a barrage along the site. All along the wooden wall you'll see fragments of wood shattered, fire burning, and corpses bleeding out. You can see the flames burning are also producing light for the right side of the map contrasting with the darkened night of the left side which I think really makes the destruction pop. The Patrons wanted a night time massacre and I sure hope this meets your expectations!

The Necromancer and Legend tiers will be getting a very stylish greataxe crafted by the very talented artist: Rangoah. The Necromancer tier gets the artwork by itself with a transparent background while I worked on creating the "Heart Tracer" greataxe for the Legend tier. This greataxe is considered very rare and is ready for play in an upcoming D&D session as you see fit.
