@Emmanuel the biggest reason is too many side characters/the cast getting too big in a very short amount of time, while at the same time neglecting established characters once their “emotional arc” was done (think of Iida and Uraraka since season 2). With so many new side characters, it was hard to get emotionally invested for the majority of them, let alone care for any development.
