So we have to save our treasure" But then they realized "oh shit, even being torture he isn't talking, we were completely wrong"

2022-06-02 07:16:00 +0000 UTCI don't think it was that he only cared if his life was in danger. I think at that point Ace cared only about himself and Sabo so a random person or someone he didn't have a reason to care about dying wouldn't affect him. It mattered because he didn't tell. Him not telling and taking torture on Ace's behalf I think was what made them want to save Luffy.
