Just wanna include some info that is in the book but not in the anime: Magic classes include Beginner, intermediate, advanced, saint, king, emperor, and god classes: about 1 in 20 has the ability to fight, 1 in 20 of those is capable of becoming a mage. (1 in 400 of all people can be a mage), and 1 in 100 of mages can master advance level of 1 element. Also, in the magic book Rudy found at home, it says “one’s capacity of mana is settled at birth and cannot change”. But Rudy noticed that his mana capacity is increasing by the same amount he used the day before. Therefore he was making more and more water ball. At the same time, making the magic larger or smaller both cost more mana. Means, if he cast a very small water ball, it might cost same amount of mana as a very large water ball. Later, he can cast water ball all day but still cannot use up his mana. He started to use earth magic and make anime figures with a lot of details. That’s that those figures in the anime is about.

Like it shouldn't have been that hard to understand that those were his siblings after he didn't show up to his own parents funeral. They went waaaaaayyyy off bounds for what you should have normally thought when seeing that even with the lack of complete context of the situation.
