yeah, this mission was so frustrating to watch, especially this 'battle' format with the second class. it's just so dangerous, expecting dancers to instantly learn techniques that take years to master. the judge's standards were quite unclear too, imo. teams who were considerate of each other and kept the tecniques doable for other genres? "NO, we want to see your BEST TECNIQUES." teams who threw in their best techniques that were, obviously, nearly impossible to execute for somebody from another genre? "your tecniques are TOO difficult! you went too far!" 🤦♀️ i felt so bad for the guys who got injured... but with what these dancers were expected to do, it was a stroke of luck that only two dancers suffered from injury (as far as we're shown anyway)

2025-03-20 05:20:43 +0000 UTCAlso, to answer your question on if Moogan went against a stronger ballet guy and neither could replicate each others choreography- I would not cast the both of them. Remember, this is a casting and a case-by-case scenario, so we can’t judge them by their prior performance or because we know they are good. It’ll be unfair to the lesser known guys who are more well rounded and have the opportunity to shine during this particular mission. But we’ll see how the judges go about that for the rest of the mission. I believe it’s fair if it’s consistent, but if it isn’t then that’s wrong.

2025-03-12 07:26:26 +0000 UTCHi Aaron,I actually think it was fair that neither of the guys(ballet and contemporary) got casted. They both could not pull off the choreography as a whole. In the prior rounds at least one person could pull off both sections of the choreography.Remember between Moogan and the contemporary guy, moogan wasn’t casted because he couldn’t do part A properly(despite how close it was). However the other guy could copy his. So, in this case they kinda both shot themselves in the foot, which I think they were aware of. They chose to make sure they both failed rather than making it easier for their opponent which is honestly fair.
