Which clearly isn't true, I mean, even if he thinks Natsu or himself can't beat Lyon in a fight, he should be aware that Erza, or at the very least all of them together, should be able to defeat him. But he sees it as his responsibility coz he was basically the one who kickstarted Lyon down this path by going to confront Deliora.
