Update for May (new shows!)

hate to say it but spider is more action than slime. all 15 episodes ive watched have had some form of combat/fight for her life. there have been several slime episodes where its more world building/communication. dont get me wrong, spider def has a bit more world building but i would not say less action

Okay,so new show suggestions? Well the top of my most wanted list is Slime Diaries followed closely by So I'm A Spider,So What? After that is Asendance Of A Bookworm (like Slime, but with less action and more world building and compelling characters.) Another good choice is Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun! I'll be looking forward to your future reactions.

witht he exception of one seasonal that i will be starting soon, im trying to work on some long term shows to put out in the next couple months so i decided to skip this season for seasonals. its dosent mean i couldnt react to those shows after they are finished

If were staying isekai, then shield hero, tanya, bofuri or log horizon are all great one, vinland saga would be a nice choice also if not an isekai. I could go on but these suggestions are at the top, and for good measure ill add a new one, combatants will be dispatched also seems promising

I would recommend watching Konosuba and Tanya since you’ve watched Overlord and have been watching Re:Zero since there is a spin off anime that has all four shows cross over. Just a cool way to get more content from those shows.

As others have said - Shield Hero definitely gets my vote! Other lighthearted isekais that I'd recommend are: Bofuri, Cautious Hero, and By the Grace of the Gods

I think you would be super interested in Overlord. It's like Reincarnated as a Slime but with a darker-ish tone. It's based on DnD and video game mechanics too. It's also super hilarious because of the guy who gets thrown into another world ends up as a magic skeleton

I like to give credit were it is due, and thank you for this update AJ, I know the reason was the announcement of the new shows, but I like you adressed the OP drop delay, I know its hard but I appreciate the transparency in acknowledging its delay, even without setting a new target date, instead of brushing it off and dropping it whenever silently like you have done in the past, you have no idea how much I appreciate this.
