Every Zoan (animal transformation) fruit gives a physical boost to the user that greatly increases when he has trained a lot. It's the "simplest" fruit in that sense, pure close range, but also means the holder gets a boost in strength and stamina not to be underestimated. So what I mean by this is, their use of the transformation's characteristics (like a long neck, a tail, nails) is important, but just by transforming they already get a power boost. Also FYI, thought never confirmed completely, hybrid forms are widely considered the strongest form a Zoan can take. So there is that, square giraffe is actually top tier

To be fair, Zoro was the one that made it worse when he cuffed himself to Usopp after jumping on him to dodge the Sky Silcer kick from Kaku. If he closed the other cuff right away it would have stopped him from getting cuffed to something else.

also Kaku is barely stronger than Jabura, its basicly in the margin of error which is used to imply their rivalry

Yeah I slept on giraffes too until recently. If you look up giraffes fights lion or something of that sort, you will see that adult giraffes are capable of actually killing lions, just from their sheer mass, if a lion is kicked or trampled on in the head or weak region, they can be dealt with. Giraffes are very vulnerable, but are quite large. Its changed my opinion on giraffes actually.
