So yeah, like the other person said, Kuzan is Kuzan's actual name, Aokiji is his title, it means Blue Pheasant, and is a reference to a Japanese folk tale, when you meet the other people with a rank like his, I'll explain more (or like, someone will, I'm sure). Yeah, I could see you got angry with these, in a good way. This really starts to show what the foundation of this world is really like. A healthy world wouldn't kill of an entire island to prevent the spread of knowledge. This also highlights how the art of One Piece is juxtaposed against the reality of its world and really makes me appreciate it more. You have this cheerful art style that coats this grim world that has an authoritarian government and savage pirates vying for power. It does a good job of lulling you into a false sense of optimism. I remember being so shocked when Luffy ordered Sogeking to burn the flag(though it seems like such a natural progression now), but after reading everything Robin went through, I was so happy. And the voice actor for Robin does an amazing job just making you really feel it, screaming out, "I want to live." Like the Japanese voice actors all around are just so good. But yeah, those are 2 of my favorite One Piece moments. Probably in my top 10 Usually I wait for you to post these to Youtube, cause then I can put them on tv as I work, but I was impatient this time... I'll probably still post the second part of this ramble in the comments, just cause I want to see if anyone else has an opinions on it 🤷♀️😅
