Crunchyroll has been having issues with buffering lately atleast where i live so especially in this reaction i had to pause and wait a ton which is why theres some cuts

2020-11-08 18:38:42 +0000 UTCI think it's not even that the fights for the long dead Noland. Luffy is much simpler imo,but that doesn't make it worse. I think he fights for the the guy below and his two monkey friends, because these guys were actually genuinely nice and became luffys friends. And for them, he wants to ring the bell. Not even necessarily so that everyone knows Noland wasn't a liar, but just for these guys to know and be happy.

Wyper is pretty cool, and Noland/Calgara is a better character arc than a lot of main character arcs I've seen in plenty of shows. Oda stays consistent with the high quality side characters throughout the whole series for the most part. There definitely are some not so great ones here are there too though
