Reminder that despite common myths, all water affects power users, not just salt water, as long as enough touches your body. Luffy sank in the white-white sea because water is water. He would have drowned even if it had a bottom. On another note, I actually completely forgot that the dense clouds are a result of sea prism stone particles.

This is where Oda starts stretching his creativity and it truly takes off from here. The reason this arc is one of my favorites is because I truly feel it encapsulates what the One Piece manga is in one arc. I can’t go into details yet but you’re in for an absolute treat :)
