Haha, I was waiting for when you would make the realization. Oda did make an emphasis that he was able to copy people's faces. It's really nice to see another insightful reactor that can understand the detail, and depth of One piece's storytelling. I can't wait for the next two episodes!

Kind of hard to make fun of you AJ for not realizing who that was, since it's hard to catch things unless Oda makes them obvious. I was confused the first time I saw that interaction too.. and I missed that the ship had weapons in it for the rebels until I rewatched it... so you seem to be tuned in more than I was with my first viewing and I can't wait til you reach further into the One Piece story.

I know. This just show how brilliant the scene was set up. Mr 2's impersonation abilities was already fleshed out for almost 1/4 of the past episode (Vivi saw her father's face during Mr 2's showoff on the Merry, the crew tied bandages around their left arm) that it is almost impossible to forget. Yet AJ was so caught in the flow that he didn't realise the fact that it was Mr 2 until it was pointed directly in his face. BRILLIANT!!

God AJ, it was really unnerving seeing you talk about king Cobra like that and not realizing it was Mr. 2 all along lol! I was practically shouting at the screen, and I didn't remember this arc all that well to begin with

Oh Overlord and this show kinda nice to watch alongside when you think about character personalities and stuff^^ You can learn and transfer that knowledge over to the other anime, because both are so unique:)

Well I am curenntly watching the most recent One Piece Episode and even I forgot why the king acted like that. After some minutes I was like daaamn right it was Mr 2 xD

Other than groaning at the codename Sanji has chosen for himself (because he fully intends on being the prince charming that rescues the princess) I do love how GOda handled Crocodile not knowing about Sanji giving the crew a blind spot to hit Crocodile's plans from
