how is saying season 3 throws you right into the middle of the manga without explaining anything and assumes you read it a spoiler? It gives NO details about what actually transpires in season 3. Also thats bad writing "if you read the manga youd understand season 3" Ummm starting a series then cutting out a huge chuck of the source material skipping over it and restarting it from a random point in that material without any explanation is inexcusable. By youre logic so youre saying If after the made the fellowship of the ring movie then skipped right to return of the king movie next, youd be ok with that and tell ppl who are confused "Well you shouldve read Two Towers?" Ooookay

As for why he goes from black hair to white hair and if hes a half breed or half good/evil you literally get all those questions answered in the first episode, so you wont have to wait long to find that part out. As for the third and 4th opening as well as season 3. Well youre supposed to be thrown off and its why season 3 is so bad. See what happens is season 2 deviates from the manga at a point (which is why so many ppl hate it and complain about it) season 3 then follows the manga 100% but throws you right into the middle of it without explaining ANYTHING and assumes youve read the manga and know whats going on, for anyone whos anime only, season 3 makes NO SENSE is super confusing and youd have NO IDEA whats going on and youre never told whats going on. Its like having reading a 200 page book, youve read pages 1-50 (season 1 and half of season 2) then you skip all the way to page 150-200 (season 3) thus you're missing a full 100 pages of information. New characters, new abilities, changes in the world and you're just there like "huh?" The main character from the first two seasons is in season 3, he just looks completely different and because of what I stated above, youve never told why, you just know/find out its him at some point cause everyone else around hi calls him by his name like what you're seeing is completely normal. Which to the viewer who hasnt read the manga it isnt normal at all.

season 1 was great season 2 was ok (not as bad as people say it was) season 3 however was terrible and has NO redeeming qualities. I only watched that because "I invested this much time into his show, I might as well see how it ends" But yeah there was NOTHING good about season 3.... except one of the openings Also the first OP is indeed great. I do anime covers (and video games once in awhile) and Ive rocked Unravel myself plenty of times.

First of all these “demons” are called ghouls xd its in the title 😂 you should definitely react to tokyo ghoul but I will tell you this about each season. Season 1 is good, it passes. Season 2 is absolutely trash and garbage like it doesnt go along with the manga at all, people say its good as a stand alone but it really isnt like the main character would have never done that if you truly know him, they left out a few important characters that are brought back in future seasons. Season 3 and Season 4 are the absolute best, it has the least amount of filler, they do cut some scenes off but not as much as S1 and S2. You wont understand Season 3 and Season 4 that well unless you read the manga BECAUSE they actually adapted the majority of the Manga and it turned out amazing. I wish they would have adapted all of the manga from S1-S4. It would have been one of the top anime.

Probably best to stay away from this anime. After season 1 the story is a dumpster fire. Especially in season 3.

Also if you want some opinions about the anime, the first season is a must watch, one of the best out there, and the manga is also amazing, However, the second season went wayy off from the manga, and many people didn’t like that. Compared to the manga the second season seem pretty bad, but on its own it is pretty good. Also the shipping is real between the main character and a certain girl in the show, pretty much everyone who watch the show ship those two. 😉
