My Hero Academia S3 Eps 8 FULL REACTION

My Hero Academia S3 Eps 8 FULL REACTION

All might is a great hero but is actually a kinda shitty role model for studens, always idolisting self sacrifice and "going beyond" in theory its a great ideal but its really not something you wanna teach kids, grand torino and recovery girls both point this out but this episode really shows it too

most of what you described is character development. Not story/overall plot. Yes MHA does a fine job with character development. Now if only they could do the same with plot

I know if a friend or family was taken I'd go rouge in a damn second

And, yeah, UA's entire response was basically the well-known "non-apology" that so many companies, especially video game publishers, love to give nowadays. You know, not giving specifics about what they're going to do to fix the problem while also not exactly apologizing for the incident.

I think MHA's strong point is its ability to create strong, compelling characters. Even the "minor" characters in Class 1-A get some development. It's hard to explain, but I feel like they create a strong, emotionally compelling story by having the story revolve around the characters. They don't take the story and stick characters in it. They take characters and create the story around those characters.

O boy o boy you AOT and MHA reaction episodes are both matching up together and getting to the good episodes. How perfect 👌

Two anime’s I suggest with good stories are Psycho Pass and Bungo Stray Dogs.

If you're looking for another anime to check out with a more drive for story telling then I would highly suggest Beastars. It's my pick for favourite anime of the previous year and is getting another season this year. So when Season 2 pops around you should check out the first season and go straight into season 2.

I think that the strength of the MHA story is in it's ability to create great characters that feel different from each other and also be able to introduce a wide cast. Like Izuku's mum Inko for example, she is believable and you can understand her motivations. You also have Bakugo which pretty much everyone disliked at the beginning now competing with todoroki and Deku for their popularity. Plus it doens't just rely on big fights to give you the emotion, like even in the first episode with Deku's mum not being able to tell her son he could still be a hero without a quirk. Finally, both the central characters and the villains are growing in their respective paths so it gives the story room to grow without it feeling like you know what's going to happen. The plot in Fullmetal is great though

As for your comments on the MHA story. I kinda agree with what everyone told you. The story is definitely not great.. Now its an entertaining story.. 100%. Its like a AAA Summer lockbuster movie, its not boring at all and 100% entertain to watch , but its not gonna win any awards. Just like the Marvel movies, I love every one of them but their stories are nothing to write home about. That doesnt mean theyre BAD. but when compared to plots and stories in shows like Fullmetal Alchemist (both of them), Attack on titan, death note, promised neverland, monster, even Gundam 00 and Code Geass had great plots for the kind of shows they were. Compared to stuff like that MHAs story quirk isnt strong enough.
