Everybody's opinions in here matter so i will likely sway towards what you guys vote high on so vote vote vote! also you'll have a lot of releases through the day today so look for those late tonight. (Also if you don't see a certain show on here it might be because i'm already doing it hint hint one piece hint hint) also if its pretty spread out ill limit the choices with a second poll later ALSO you can vote on multiple shows on this one so vote for the shows you want. the next one where i narrow it down will be only one show you can vote on.

I understand a lot of people haven't seen or may have never heard of it since it is an amazon prime exclusive, however its made by the same studio that makes attack on titan and has already been green lit for a second season. I can say with 100% confidence this show would be anime of the year for 2019 if it had only been more easily accessible to the masses.

I feel like most of these are only getting so many votes is because they aired recently (not including OPM). I'd like to suggest an older psychological anime, not the promised Neverland but Parasyte the maxim made by studio Madhouse.

2019-12-17 22:02:13 +0000 UTCI've been a little hesitant to suggest this anime since most people either really love it or really hate it: Sword Art Online. It's currently airing its fourth season, and it has one canon movie. It's one of my favorite animes to date. It's actually one of the most popular shows of the 2010s according to My Anime List, coming in at #2 just behind Attack on Titan. I really can't say anything more about the show without spoiling the premise, though.

2019-12-17 21:55:08 +0000 UTCTBH, the only reason I haven't recommended Avatar is because it's not technically anime, although its animation is inspired by anime. One of the best shows I've ever watched. I've seen The Dragon Prince (including the newest season), too. It's pretty good, though I'm not sure yet if it'll end up being as good as Avatar. It's definitely not anime, though.

2019-12-17 21:46:13 +0000 UTCOnce you finish a few of the shows you’re currently on, I’d recommend doing The Dragon Prince. Its pretty short, with 9 episodes a season and only three seasons, but its really good and interesting. Its made by one of the writers from Avatar: The Last Airbender, if you’ve seen it(if you haven’t, I’d recommend it as well. Its amazing.), and its a little kidsy like Avatar, but also has much more mature and deeper themes.
2019-12-17 21:40:02 +0000 UTCI'm so glad The Promised Neverland (aka Yakusoku no Neverland) is doing so well in the poll (so far)! Even though I'm the one that suggested the OP/ ED reaction, I didn't expect it to really go this far. I'm also rooting for Dr. Stone. I've been watching the dub as it airs on Toonami (a weekly late night anime block that airs in the US), and it's also a pretty good show, albeit in a different way than TPN, and it's got an interesting premise. Can't really say much more about it since I myself haven't finished watching it, but I'd definitely recommend it. The English dub is pretty good. Can't really compare it to the Japanese one since I haven't heard it, though. Mob Psycho 100 is also an unexpectedly amazing show. Both it and One Punch Man were made by the same manga author, and I've been waiting and hoping for the second season to air on Toonami sometime soon! Even though I've finished the first season, I can't really say too much about it without spoiling.
