Just a little about Wamuu.... that's pretty much how petrol/diesel cars work. It's not the liquid part but the gaseous part that combusts when compressed to drive the pistons.... at the most basic level. Add in heat or a spark and the reaction is that much greater. I like Joseph's thinking which is why he's my favourite Jojo. I kinda wish I hadn't figured out his plan that quickly.

Just a heads up, part 3 had a number of mini arcs with multiple episodes so you may wanna group certain episodes together. And as an extra forewarning, don't worry about being confused at the beginning of part 3. It'll take a while to adjust. Don't pay too close attention to the groundwork as it doesn't always apply.
