sadly yess @Daud, but honestly the fact that they watched Kizu in LN order is the most important change out of the 3 changes. (Kizu, Hana, and Koyomi change all in importance of order)

Back in Bakemonogatari when Nadeko had the curse, she literally went to that exact shrine and killed, maimed, and nailed all those snakes to that tree on her own in some sick ritual before she was able to get Araragi's help with it. Araragi and Kanbaru even saw the corpses. Seems this snake aberration actually is just making her atone for what she did to the snakes, just like he explained to her at the end. You can probably take it at face value.
