I'm not sure where the 'rock ver' comes from, probably just because someone uploaded it named like that and it stuck with fans, officially this version is simply called rearranged. I do agree that it's leaning more into metal or hard rock than regular rock. Good news for you they also recorded a studio version of it for their 1st concert tour album in case you'd like to add it to your playlist or listen to the clean one! :D https://youtu.be/nppOfN39qDw SHINee is that group that has done nearly everything and the members themselves are actually pretty big fans of metal/rock music, especially Taemin and Jonghyun. Jonghyun has even played bass in some rock bands growing up before transitioning to jazz.
