Most of their "waifus" are underage, quintuplets, nezuko, orihime, Komi-san, etc. Those are either a children or children looking like Senko-san, nezuko lol or any of the pokemon girls and the rest most typical "waifus" are around 15-17 years old, if you're underage sure if you're 16 you're allowed to like 16 year old people but most people here are not under the age of 18 lol and yet they have these double standards acting as if Mushoku is a really bad show but then everything else is good

Like take The Eminence in the Shadow, if people applied the same logic to Cid as they do to Rudeus then when he meets Alpha and the others he is a 20+ y.o. guy gaslighting and grooming young girls below the age of 10. By the time the show properly starts he is 30+ and has over 600 teenage girls fawning over him and has made them completely submissive to him through years of gaslighting and grooming. But that's ignoring the entire premise and setting of the show just for the sake of talking bad about it.

Mushoku MC is definitely more open about it. Not saying it's right ofc but don't act like most of the isekais are not the same.
