there’s no reason for the toxic comment, ivan. people who haven’t watched the show will not know anything about the characters, their backstories, or what role they have to play in the plot. at most, it’s a guessing game - the openings do not tell the story.

I don't have a schedule for what gets uploaded on what day but everything does get uploaded by end of the week so sometimes you might get 7ds on Monday and other times on Thursdays. I do upload everyday usually with different anime/ shows(sometimes I upload 3 ep in 1 day and no uploads the day after)

here's a fun fact : the studio that did almost all SAO content is called "A1 Pictures". the studio that did the first 2 seasons of 7 deadly sins... is also "A1 pictures", so take that for what you will, but I think you'll really enjoy SAO at least in terms of animation and music. well.. they also animated fate/apocrypha but.. you know.

It's often called an Isekai and is counted as one, but while it certainly has Isekai elements it's not really one. But anything more would mean spoiling stuff, though you will already put 2 and 2 together in Ep.1. BTW talking about the early anime, there is are 2 movies called Sword Art Online Progressive, the first one Aria of a Starless Night is basically the more definitive version of Episode 2 of the anime (there was a lot of "cut content" in Episode 2), and even though it has like 30minutes of anime original content and a anime original character taking an important role it's Imho the best representation of SAO, how it should be according to the novels, up to date. It's available for streaming already. The second Progressive movie "Scherzo of Deep Night" is set between the first movie and episode 3, it just released on BD and might come to streaming services soon (well if you sail the seas it's likely already available) The Progressive movies aren't necessary to understand the rest of the story, so you don't have to watch them right away, but if you end up enjoying SAO it will definitely be worth a watch (though I have only seen the first one yet, so I can't personally say much about the second one).

They are in a videogame yes, but it's sort of an isekai as well. You have to watch the show to really understand what that means, but at the very least the first season is very enjoyable.

Btw. some of those openings friend send you had scenes that were put backwards, probably to prevent copyright strikes... though not sure why hesend them, as I'm pretty sure there are normal versions of those opening outthere xDD And yeah, it's not isekai - they are in game
