I understand him choosing his family over Hae Soo but that does not stop me from blaming him for the consequences it brought. If one looks at the situation at the time, choosing Soo and helping her clear her name from the crime would have resulted in her sister and mother's exile from the kingdom but choosing his sister would have resulted in Soo's death. I don't think a person's life should be less than somebody's ambition to get the throne. To put it simply, nobody blames him for choosing his family over Soo but everyone blames him for choosing his family's comfort over Soo's life.

His choice. That’s it. He literally turned his back on her. And now he just wants the throne using Haw Soo as an excuse PLEASE.
