November Update

Hey Folks-

Here's the monthly update of new stuff, what's coming this month, and what's on the radar for the future.

Recent Releases

• Blood Magic Expansion (Alpha) - A sweeping expansion that brings 14 new spells, a Warden Subclass (Blood Forger), Occultist Subclass (Cultist), and Witch Coven (Red Coven), this is the first look at the new blood magic system, and will expand over time.
• Occultist 1.3 - Quite a large update that revamps War Oracle, adds Mysteries for Dark and Light, and has a smattering of balance tweaks throughout. This turned out to be a bigger update than expected, and I didn't quite have time to polish everything, so there will be a 1.3.1 fairly soon. Folks that want the most stable experience may want to wait for that as this version shakes out the testing bugs and update edges.
• Spellblade 0.8 (Beta) - Finally bringing this into shape as a presentable class, this there wasn't too many mechanical changes, but the snark has been replaced with typical class intros and the like, making it something that resembles an actual class as we march toward 1.0.
• Compiled Homebrew List Update - Just cleaning up and formatting, everything now has a brief description, but I said I'd do it and it's mostly done. I'll continue to invest more time in this to make sure it's as useful as it can be.

PDFs for the new releases will come soon to the website. Just rounding up the basic errors first.

Major Planned Releases This Month

• Jaeger 1.0 (New class). This has to be the top of the list, done for MonkeyDM's Steinhardt's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt, I'll keep you folks posted on it. A new class embodying a rapid Hunter/Slayer playstyle that slices and dices the most frightening of monsters.
• New Subclasses (Poll Results). Based on the October poll, I'd said I'd do those every other month for the time being, so I'll do the ones from the top of the October poll so we can have for a new December poll.
• Generic Elemental Spells 2.0. I intended to do this last month, but the Blood Magic expansion ended up taking a lot of time.

Minor Planned Releases This Month

• Blood Magic Expansion 1.0. The next update for Blood Magic will be much smaller, mostly just ironing out any issues and making it more ready to use beyond just testers.
• Occultist 1.3.1. Small update penned for anything that has issues in 1.3, as that update was a bit rushed by the end.

Other Planned Releases (Future)

• Sunwatcher Warden. Blood Forger was fulfilled in the Blood Magic Expansion, but that means Sunwatcher is up next. There's a good chance we'll see it this month as I have a pretty solid idea of what it is, but don't want to make any promises as I have a busy month.
• Feats (Expert & Mastery and Mystic Path Feats). These are pretty high on the list, but they have tendency to get stuck in development hell as people have very developed opinions on feats, so they take a lot of testing.
• Artifacts and Airships (Crafting Expansion). This will probably come with the next KS (though the PDF will be free to patreon backers, it'll get a print option there), so not till Jan/Feb, but may release around that time in PDF form.
• Foundry Module Updates (Subclasses). I've been planning on improving the Foundry modules for the scattered subclasses for awhile, but not sure if I'll have time this month.
• Battle System. Crunching away on this. We'll probably see a beta before the Jan/Feb KS.

Other Projects (Unconfirmed Timeline)

Projects that I'm working on, but don't know when/if I'll release them.

• Crafting Website. I haven't forgotten about this, just haven't had a lot of time to do it. If you are web developer that thinks they could make this, feel free to reach out and we can talk. Otherwise I'll do this when I have time.
• ???. I have a project regarding future proofing 5e and content for it on the back burner. For the time being, this is just something I'm fiddling with in the background. We'll see what the future holds.

Monthly KS Update

Monthly KS Update. ...basically the same thing as last month. As far as I know, AU/NZ/UK/EU books should be shipping immiently (I hit the big red button and paid for shipping over a week ago) they should start going out as soon as inventory, sorting, and packing are done. US/CA books are still not at the Warehouse, but arrived at port some time ago, so just waiting for them to get through to the Warehouse.
