October Update
Added 2024-10-17 11:13:56 +0000 UTCI've been working on the issues I mentioned in my last update, good progress so far! I found a course I'm going to follow for fur, and have been reading anatomy books and watching videos, as well as practicing how I analyze references (I was going about that in a poor way before as it turns out)
By the end of that I imagine I'll be able to produce much better fur than I can currently, and hopefully much faster! Anatomy will be tougher, that really can only get better with practice BUT I do know a lot more now than I did
Next week I should have something concrete to show but at the end of this course I'll have a new model to make renders with in the meantime before my next anthro model!

there are some that are, but the course im doing now is rather on the pricy side, it's the animal vfx course from vfxgrace

2024-10-17 18:02:07 +0000 UTCthanks!! it certainly is, and don't worry I'm definitely not rushing things this time, already can say for a fact I know 100% more anatomy than I did when I made my last model, which is exciting because on the last model I would say 50% of the time was spent on small anatomy tweaks because I lacked knowledge in that area. I should have some very good updates soon! (although the model im doing to follow this course is not anthro, most of the skills still transfer)

Eager to see the results but at the same time I'd say to not rush things out when it comes to learning and practicing new stuff! Bah, it's not like you'll stop practicing so it can only get better right now
