Now that I have completed this first character commission, I have seen where best to focus my efforts to improve my workflow and knowledge!

My three top priorities are improving my anatomy knowledge, my 3D hair grooming knowledge, and my rigging knowledge. To this end I'll be tackling anatomy and grooming first. Anatomy I can do at the moment, but it takes far too long per model, my goal is to spend less time on it initially, and not require as many revisions later in the workflow as I spot issues. As for grooming, I need to improve my time, but also become better at managing specific stylings and settings. And rigging I also just need to get faster at, which means more practice on that too

For the immediate future I'll be studying and practicing both. But my plan for the next few months are this:

I will continue doing public internals for here, the next will go up late this month or next month!

While I do my courses, I will do a model for a personal character, and perhaps a base to use as throwaway characters in some future motion comics

After that is when I will take the next slot for a character commission, I should be much more comfortable with the things that took me the longest on this last model, and since I am no longer in school, it should go tremendously faster this time around!

I will also be sporadically opening for custom internal, model edit/retexturing, and prop modelling commissions. I'm aiming for monthly on those but maybe more, maybe less!

I'll also of course share my progress with my goals, fur and anatomy studies, etc!
