Zelda Watercolor Complete Set +WIP story

Princess Zelda has a routine meeting today at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab with Purah, and decides to set out early on the lengthy journey. She is hoping to travel by foot rather than horseback so she can make a few stops for the research she is doing on herbal remedies she had discovered from some ancient Zonai hieroglyphs. She rushed out of bed in excitement, hoping not to waste a single minute of daylight while she had the chance. It was early spring and even though it was pretty chilly outside, she decides to put on her trusty blue tunic and leather boots. She was looking forward to the spring breeze on her body and figured her boots would be enough to keep her warm. Even though she prefers to travel alone, her father, King Rhoam, insists to bring a knight with her on her travels to make sure she is safe. She would rather save her energy for the trip than debate with her father so requests Link to join her. At least he is not chatty so she can focus on her research and notes as she travels East towards the Akkala region.

Zelda decides to take the route north of Central Hyrule in the hopes that she can stop by the Lost Woods to collect some plants for her research. It was soon after she reached the edge of the woods that she had realized how much she appreciated her horse, Storm, because the trek was longer than she expected being so used to riding her horse around Hyrule. Zelda and Link stopped by the edge of a stream in the Lost Woods to take a break. Link plopped down next to a tree and Zelda decided now that she was away from her father and the responsibilities of Hyrule, she can take this time to relax and enjoy the nature around her. She sits at the edge of the stream and takes off her leather boots and places them tidily on the grass along with her satchel holding some of the flowers and herbs she collected. With the weight off her shoulders she gets up to step into the stream. Zelda carefully dipped her toe in at first to test the water, and even though it was a bit cold at first the water was just what she needed for her sore bare feet. She walked in circles for a bit examining some of the dragonflies and waterbugs dancing about and enjoyed kicking around the water to scare some of the fish away to keep the bugs around her safe. She looks up to find Link staring off into the distance. "Hey Link" she called out startling Link from his day dream, "Come join me, you need this more than I do, so lets walk for a bit."

Link gets up from the shade of the tree and walks towards princess Zelda at her request. Even though he appreciated Zelda's ability to relax her inhibitions, he had a duty to carry out so decided to hold onto his equipment and boots as he made his way onto the water. "Are you sure you're comfortable wearing all that? The Lost Woods aren't too much of a concern for monsters, Link" Zelda says looking at the unperturbed knight with a mischievous side eye. Link shakes his head affirming that he will be alright. "Alright suit yourself mister" she says as she starts walking deeper into the woods admiring the trees. Even with his stoic attitude, Link was stuck again in quite the dilemma. The King had notified Link of how there are some dangers he was sensing that was brewing in Hyrule, and to keep a very close eye on Zelda. However, keeping a close eye meant he could not help but notice her long beautiful legs moving so gracefully and her pretty feet traversing through the shallow stream. In moments like these he would respectfully look away, making sure women, such as the princess were not uncomfortable with his wandering eyes. The princess was known in Hyrule for her very elegant and formal dresses in the public space, but he had spent quite the time in her privacy to see Zelda for her true self. Link enjoyed the variety of sheer and lacy night gowns Zelda had in her wardrobe which she would enjoy wearing on her studies or late night roams around the castle at night. Zelda did catch Link staring at her legs as she made herself up the ladder to reach some ancient texts in the castle library. Even though Zelda giggled as Link startled when they made eye contact, he didn't want to experience that embarrassment again.

Link was more often than not intrigued by Zelda's sense of style, and today was no exception. She had her signature custom blue tunic on, but he thought, "Usually people wear leather pants underneath to get the full effectiveness of the utility of the tunic, but I guess it suits the princess and she seems comfortable, though I could never try that." Zelda had no intention of being stylistic but always enjoyed the exposure of her skin to nature. It was a nice change to her formal clothing that tightly bound and covered her skin. Even though her father never appreciated her choices, knowing he knew the knights would take any chance to sneak looks at her body, she kind of enjoyed the thought of being seen in such a way. Though most princesses would be disgusted at such perverse behaviors, her heart races with excitement at risking her reputation as a "noble princess." Purah seemed to be the only one who understood her concerns. Being over 100 years old but being young again I guess does that. "Zelda dear you won't always be this young and beautiful forever, unless you're me of course, but you can wear whatever you want here" Purah would say whenever Zelda vents about her father being so intrusive and strict.

Zelda continues her stroll with Link through the Lost Woods, but it seems to be an incredibly windy day. Even though the breeze feels exceptionally nice, the princess has a feeling she's forgotten something. The wind seemed to be blowing the skirt of her tunic up, and though she tried to keep her hands on her sides to hold it down, the front and back of her dress wouldn't behave. It was at that moment looking down she realized she forgot to wear her typical shorts or panties underneath her tunic, and her bare bottom was exposed to Link. She looked back at him, red in the face, but he seemed to be distracted by the nature around. "Oh good I hope he doesn't notice" she thought to herself, "he's not a bad guy."
