We're working on the newest Coffeezilla video. Update soon.
In the meantime I have a fun one. Tell me if you've heard this one before.
Man starts challenge, bets against himself, fails the challenge, makes a huge profit...gets arrested for terrorism allegations.
Yeah it was new for me too...here's the scoop.
"Lord Miles" is a British Youtuber who was previously best known for being captured by the Taliban and later being released.
More recently he started "40 day water fast in the desert" which you could bet on via POLYMARKET--an online betting site.
$14 million dollars were bet on this bizarre stunt, whether he would finish or not.
It looked like he would finish the challenge when suddenly Miles disappeared without warning, leaving the bet resolved "NO".
Quickly people found an old tweet of Miles showing his crypto accounts, and were able to trace funds from Miles to a wallet which bet against Miles finishing the fast...
Leaving Miles +$60,000 in profit for failing.
The aftermath was even stranger.
After disappearing, the sponsor of the event came out to declare Miles dead.
Lucky for Miles, his own account later declared Miles alive but in Saudi Arabia intelligence custody under detainment for "terrorism" charges.
Miles blames the crypto betting on an Afghan friend.
I am deeply skeptical of the latter part of this timeline... there has so far been no concrete proof of Miles' status.
Tell me what you think of this insanity.
