🚨JOHN KARONY GUILTY OF 3 COUNTS OF FRAUD

Life comes at you fast.

Today the former CEO of Safemoon was found guilty of Securities Fraud Conspiracy, Wire Fraud Conspiracy, and Money Laundering Conspiracy by a jury of his peers—and I can finally close the chapter on 4 years of investigative reporting.

4 years ago I was called a “hater” for reporting this to be a fraud. I was even threatened with a lawsuit. Today:

SAFEMOON LLC is in bankruptcy

John Karony (CEO) is guilty on 3 counts of fraud

Thomas Smith (CTO) pled guilty to fraud

Kyle Nagy (founder) is allegedly on the run in Russia

For my part, I’m left with a souvenir to remember it all by—$1 that Safemoon had framed in their corporate office. It’s a little unclear whether this was the first dollar they ever made or part of their plan to nano coat, wind farms in the Gambia, but either way it’s a token I’ll never forget.
