Discord server will be going public
Added 2017-08-26 03:59:42 +0000 UTCEarlier this month, I added a private Discord server to the $3 Tier. However, out of my 43 supporters, only 4 of you have managed/decided to hop on the server.
Should I make regular posts to keep people up-to-date on how to join the server? Do most of you not have your Patreon and Discord accounts linked? Did you miss the part of my "thank you" message that explains how to link your accounts? Does the automatic invite function just not work?
Admittedly, I haven't done too much to get to the bottom of these questions, but not a single person has messaged me about being unable to join the server. My only assumption is that most of you either aren't interested in joining the server or don't know it exists in the first place.
In any case, I've decided that manually keeping tabs on everyone and trying to work things out is more trouble than it's worth, so I'll be making the server public at the end of the month (August 31).
I don't have anything in mind at the moment, but I'll see about giving Patreon supporters some kind of special privilege on the server (likely exclusive access to certain channels).
