The orb(Burst mix and open) he threw, was the same Vegeta threw against Goku in the saiyan saga, its something the saiyans learned to make a artifical moons cause some planets doesnt have a moon.

Saiyajin is the official pronunciation. Saiyan is actually only an English dub term, but a change that makes sense for English speaking audiences. Kinda like making Tienshenhan Tien Shenhan. Instead of 1 name it’s a first and last name in English. Also, the Burst open and mix was used by vegeta in the Saiyan saga. That’s how he transformed into the ape against goku.

Pretty much all Saiyans can use the “artificial moon” thing but they have to have a tail for it to affect them. Vegeta used it against Goku in their first fight (and someone told me in a another dub that Vegeta says Bardock invented it)
