Naruto turned into a skin-suit of his own free will, but whether Naruto can think as a skinsuit I don't know. That's a good question, I think Kishimoto Sensei is the only one who can give an accurate answer as to whether they can think at such a time. More than once we have seen characters transformed into objects or weapons. Suppose he can't, so much easier :)
