I think Ryun’s sect will be ok without him with Tali back at full health and I do believe she’s at least Titan rank at the very least, I mean what’s the point of nursing her back to health over a whole story ark to just have her die along with his sect now Ryun’s semi dead, I’m a massive fan of Tali in this series and truly believe she’s now a hidden ace in the deck of Titan rankers that still live

Current plan for next chapter from Kal: Okay, I think that I'm gonna release this one tomorrow. It is looking like it is going to be another longer chapter. So double length tomorrow I guess. Then from sunday we should be back to regular sized chapters once a day.

Still under influence. Why would he disappear if not. And in the notification it only said spread of corruption limited not stopped. Guess Hastur's generals still continue the work, just on a much smaller scale. If the empire is no longer, then the Ornn's must have suffered losses as well, but a few will be still alive. Maybe one of the parents dead.

Thanks for the chapter. The world is screwed and Ryun is dead for the next few years. Which means he can't cultivate, explore this new tower, or get stronger in any kind of way. But it allows the other characters to develop further and it changes the setting of the world. I am of two minds regarding the conclusion of this battle and of the volume. On the one hand, I like the surprise with the mental attack and that three years have now gone past. On the other hand, in retrospect I have now as well the impression, that a lot of chapters of this volume are inconsequential. I mean, an important part of this volume revolves around the preparation for the battle against Hastur. Putting together a team, getting essence, learning, the equipment, items, and training. I thought the fight was going to be more classic. Quite epic, with teamwork and a focus on all the characters more equally, with tactics, different powers working together, more or less just like the end of this chapter. But in the end it was kind of all for naught and they would have lost anyway, if Zach hadn't gotten his power up, become a minor god, and defeated Hastur almost single-handedly.

Skill evolving doesn’t involve stats at all. All that matters is willpower. Zenker also evolved 4 tier 8’a into tier 9’s in like 5 minutes which would drain your will like crazy which it did

Ugh just show us screens already ! Another t9 skill although this was expected anyway but the speed with which he did it so quickly … evolving his skill, zenker was completely out of it after evolving his skills , and that was when he had much higher stats than zach does … and zach’s current will was also every bit of a match for hastur’s if not stronger than his … can’t wait to see what the rewards are, the framework made a big deal of it in the last book when hastur was released for the first time

So since 3 years have passed and since it looks like Ryun won't be back for a few years from the looks of it, I guess that means he'll be missing the 8th iteration coming into IR, unless that already happened with the 3 years passing (I don't remember how long its been since 7th iteration entered IR)
