That was a lovely attempt at predicting the situation with limited information, if Re:Zero were a more simple story you would have probably been right, maybe. You described the "Fixed Timeline" theory of time travel accurately enough where events are more or less predetermined. There are three major theorised types of time travel, "Fixed", "Dynamic", "Multiverse". Googling "The Three Major Theories of Time Travel" for images and there is a neat description of all three ^^ Funny how much effort we humans have gone into describing something that may forever be beyond a humans ability to grasp, kind of like how any movie lover knows how to kill a zombie haha. Looking forward to seeing how you will fair with what Re:Zero has instore for you. Such a wild ride. Angie ^^
