Last G2 Update till end of 2025

Alien just answered.
I will spare you with the details because I'm done making excuses at this point:
He made progress with the Final Mix but there is still a lot to do for the sex scenes (big project, lots of layers, yada yada).
The production team from his 2. Gig reached out to him and he has to make some corrections which will occupy him till the 12.09. (they made a bunch of rearrangements of their project, it's not really his fault).
I told him that I won't bother him anymore till the end of the year so he can focus on his arrangements and hopefully get the job done.

The best products often have production delays. Fans who can't take that reality aren't considering how creation works when it's done right.

2025-09-20 15:40:22 +0000 UTCHey Yuri, Yup, I expect him to finish the final Mix till the end of the year and I told him as much. Well if I would have a bunch of somewhat professional sound designers, this would be a totally different story but all of the NSFW audio engineers do loops and sex content only and would probably be a bit overwhelmed with G2 which demands a biit more of a cinematic approach. I don't think the result would be catastrophic and I don't mind going that route IF we have to but it would be bit of a shame nontheless. Not to mention the 7k we would've blasted for nothing D: In addition, we need to be mindful of thinking that whoever the next guy that would take the gig will finish it way quicker than Alien. We just don't know that. The VAs alone took 3 months to get the VOs done, just to give you some perspective. At the end of the day, I manuvered myself into this position and I will make sure this won't happen again.

Respectfully, do you have a hard time limit (public/private) where you’ll cut your losses and go with someone else? Or are you committed to see this through indefinitely? I know a new person is not a perfect solution and may delay the timeline even longer, but I hope you’ve thoroughly explored your options and have a concrete plan. I know you’re probably a billion times more frustrated than even us, just worried about the sunk cost.
