A couple years ago I made a comic called The Last Christmas, and later turned it into a motion comic with help from Kinky Utterances (voice and sound disign), using my art and my editing. Now I’m taking it a step further: I’m putting together an animated version.
Quick heads-up: because the original wasn’t created with full animation/lip-sync in mind, and I'm just using the existing sound from the original, it’ll still feel a bit like a motion comic in most places—voices won’t always perfectly match—but everything will be alive and animated. It’s a mix of CG animation and AI-assisted work, and it’s coming together really nicely.
Here’s a sneak peek of the first few minutes. The finished cut will be about 13 minutes, and it should be ready around Christmas—possibly as a Christmas Eve gift. It’s very close to done.
Content warning: it’s dark, with body horror, and it leans into that “horror + Christmas” vibe. Hope you enjoy the preview. ENJOY!
