2022-12-24 04:40:19 +0000 UTCI feel like Rui hasn't had "the talk" with either of his parents. 'Cus he doesn't seem to recognize the mark on her despite Rin being able to spot it right away. Once again a lack of communication proves to be the real villain here.

2022-12-23 20:47:07 +0000 UTCI got a theory: So whenever a demon (InuYasha) marks their intended (Kagome), it acts as a warning, telling other demons that she's taken. Like what happened with Koga. However, when it comes to family members, the mark might have a different effect. Rui doesn't know what the mark is, but he has developed an attachment to Kagome. For reasons he is unsure of. Now I think he is subconsciously being affected by the mark, telling him she is family. Again, because Rui doesn't know about the mark, he could be confusing love for family with being in love with her.
