The actor who plays the transgender character accidentally showed the cover of a recent Japanese porn parody of Squid Game on his IG stories and he was apologizing so much for it to the point where you have some Koreans defending him against the attacks. Also, Koreans hated the fact that T.O.P. was hired for season 2 to the point that the creator of the show was surprised by the reaction. The hatred comes from his previous weed use. Even T.O.P. has commented that he would love to go on places like Naver and not see negative articles about himself.

2025-01-21 05:38:35 +0000 UTCIt's not about feeling resentful or petty. Gihun feels like the whole game thing is inhumane. All the stuff he experienced in the game is a lot. He was "lucky" to make it out alive, but winning doesn't feel like winning when all those people died. There were people that helped him win, such as Ali, who saved him in the first game. There were still good in people, which is why he thinks these games are manipulative and target people in despair. He wants to end the cycle of these inhumane games. He got to see real people die. All these people that all had intense problems. I would have PTSD and would not be able to live normally if I won the games. Originally, the show was supposed to only be 1 season, but you know how Netflix likes to milk shows for money. Overall, there are actually a lot of great characters in this season. I am excited to see the rest of your reaction of the show though!
