Time for a MAD 2023 (Update + Announcement)

Hello everyone! Its me, Boo, and its been a whole ass year! Crazy huh?

I have to admit, this year wasn't the best in terms of productivity. Despite making changes here and there, I still cancelled my passion project and spent the majority of the year focusing on commissions to deal with, well, everything. And tbh I still might be at it for a while! Taxes sure are fun!!

But seriously, I notice whats been going on. People have been slowly leaving more and more, and to be honest I dont blame them, My output has been pathetic since earlier this year, and unless I do something to change that, nothing will grow. So Im gonna.

Starting this month. Im going to be making some changes to the patreon, and laying the groundwork for my future plans for this year:

1 - Tier Cleanup

Sabbath Buster is dead. And untill I can get time for myself its replacement project wont be ready untill later this year (More details below), So Im going to abolish the 8$ tier entirely and keep things simple : The baseline of Entry is  the 2/5$ Tiers, This will get you access to SFW content, and some extra benefits. Subbing to the 7/10$ Tiers will give you access to EVERYTHING (NSFW+SFW), and varying levels of benefits. Any future benefits regarding special projects and such will be tied to these 4 tiers, I will not be making any more tiers

2 - Getting Back in the Groove

Because of one sudden financial crisis after another, The past year and a half was basically dedicated to commissions, which lead to a drip feed of actual content. So to stop that from happening, I'll try to get at least ONE thing done a day, wether its another drawing, sketches, warmups, or even full animations. I've been slacking behind my peers and seeing them go beyond, so its time I ramp things up and get back to it as well. When it comes to animations I'll try to keep it a few days longer like I used to, although admittedly I've been letting that slip due to the need for immediate gratification, but hey what else is new haha

3 - Longer NSFW Content Exclusivity

Ever since the Introduction of NSFW Tiers (Which admittedly has given this patreon actually viable aha) I wasn't sure if I should gate off content or not, or make the wait not too egregious, but there NEEDS to be some incentive to keep your patronage, so I'll keep it simple. There will be an additional month wait before any semi-public release of Patron Chosen NSFW content, and the same applies to any larger NSFW projects. And yes, I WILL make some longer NSFW projects, for real this time. I see the numbers I know what people are here for, so the least I can do is stop making excuses for myself and give it to them, to you! I just, gotta figure out what it'll be first, aha...

And now, the ONE thing I hope to at least START This Year, 2023, On god on God, fr fr (I hope) :

'member this dude? This Little freak? Well get used to seeing him alot more this year, because THIS is the Protagonist of my next comic project. Now I wont spoil anything, but just know that this has been in the works for little under a year, I've been drafting up all the details of the world, the first few chapters, and other important things!

 Sabbath Buster, admittedly, was just an attempt to replicate what I thought was cool from the people I looked up to, but...It was bad. I started it off in the worst possible way, the more I thought about crucial plot and world details the more I realized it was nonsensical, didn't look the way I wanted it to, and my writing in was laughable. To be honest I scrapped it because it was only in the first draft the moment I made it public. It was just not ready, I wasnt ready

But hopefully that changes this year. I've been taking my time on this one, and will be getting some outside notes. Im gonna utilize my full strengths, make it 100% Colored, and update on a regular basis once it gets going. But before it REALLY starts, I have plans to release a one-shot based in the setting of Project : Nomad before the actual story begins, but you wont be getting any hints here! I'll wait for the right moment to show my hand, and drip feed hints of whats to come in the very near future! (Possibly VERY very near...)

Other than that, theres not much else to say! I promise, this year will be far better than the last, I will FORCE it be if i have to!! Just please be patient with me a bit longer, with your help and more nonstop commissions, hopefully I'll have the breathing room to get shit DONE, and I'll do what I can starting now!!
