Boys Planet Episode 3
Added 2024-02-09 19:00:12 +0000 UTCguys i feel HORRIBLE. We lost audio in the middle of the episode for a good 30-40 minutes :'( i'm gonna try to make it up and watch something else this month. Maybe another episode or the knowing bros episode I keep mentioning. I'm so upset about it. It was during the picking teams part, so thankfully it's not a horrible spot but it's still very annoying.

the ktl g team disrespect kskssksksj... but you can watch their fancams.. maybe for you, the background was too similar to the outfits and thats valid. i liked g team more cus the performance was more dramatic, sassy, girl group like and overall addicting to watch

2024-03-02 00:30:04 +0000 UTCThe editing with krystian was some of the worst shit mnet ever pulled. Like 10 trainees came out after the show and exposed mnet that krystian was actually translating and NOT talking over people! He got so many death threats and shit...

2024-02-14 08:11:30 +0000 UTCHwanhee (the leader and oldest member of Gunwook's KTL team) is/was (?? not really sure of the status of the group right now) a member of Up10tion if you were curious!

2024-02-10 02:52:04 +0000 UTCJay was actually extremely popular and got a lot of votes but Koreans didn't like him (it also didnt help that during love me right he was against people who are extremely popular in korea) and mnet decided that korean votes should weigh more than international votes so its unfortunate that he didnt make it. He debuted Solo then in a group called one pact and is now on Mnet's vocal survival show to create a 4 member vocal group.

2024-02-09 23:47:04 +0000 UTCwith junghyun in aju nice the truth of the matter is that he just didn't have the vocal technique to sustain those notes (as he is originally a rapper) the judges weren't wrong about him being unstable when dancing in practice and even the other trainees noticed it when evaluating them

2024-02-09 19:53:17 +0000 UTC11:05 funny you said that, Yedam did recently debut in a group called One Pact with Jay, Jongwoo, Seongmin, and Tag (he left the show before the episode aired). 28:58 this was the moment I stopped worrying about Hui being on a show with guys a lot younger than him. Like, here he's playing around with Yedam (b 2003), Gyuvin (b 2004) and Sung Hanbin (b 2001) and hes acting like they're the same age. He fits in fine with all of them :) 38:53 Don't worry, NO ONE liked the K vs G, except probably MNET. They tried so hard to force a rivalry between Koreans and Global trainees but in reality, they're friends with each other and often helped each other out and hung out together. Thankfully they did get rid of the whole K vs G divide in the next mission. And you're right, G group are at a disadvantage here because of the language barrier especially since a lot of the trainees don't speak Korean well yet, plus you end up with trainees who don't speak each other's language in one group so communications is more complicated. You'll notice that the G groups who did well in this round are the ones where the group consists mostly of guys who train in Korea and/or speak Korean well. Honestly the whole picking the Team first before the song is usually what MNET does for the first round competition and I'm pretty sure it is for drama purposes. Also gives the group a chance to discuss what songs they wanted before picking. I think the reason why KTL K-Team chose Hwanhee to be the leader is because he's older and more expirianced. He's a member of Up10tion and technically him and Dongyeol are more senior than Hui since Up10tion debuted a year before Pentagon so that's probably why he became leader. 2:00:09 Lol we as fans honestly didn't learn about Matthew's muscles until nearing the end of the show. At this time, he was the cute canadian kitty punch (or whatever they called him in the arm wrestling match). Gunwook is just a lot bigger and also full of muscles I think one thing we need to keep in mind is the fact that MNET is only showing us a small snippet of the mentors interactions with the trainees. Its entirely possible they could've said 20 nice things but MNET will only show the one negative thing they did say. Yes some of the words they said couldve been nicer but at the end of the day, this is a competition, they're limited on time, the mentors aren't here to surgarcoat things. The guy comforting Min with Zhanghao during KTL is Chen KuanRui (he's the one who did the traditional dance during the first evaluation and the one that did the split during the rehersal will learning the choreo). Him and Zhang Hao are good friends. Like i mentioned earlier, the G Teams that did the best were the ones where majority of the group spoke Korean and/or trained in Korea. In KTL, Wang ZIhao is the only one who doesn't speak Korean well though I believe he does train in Korea (he's from EXO Lay's companyt btw), every one else is fluent in Korean and is a Kpop trainee. Ok I'm done with my commentary lol.

2024-02-09 19:32:05 +0000 UTCfun fact: ollie and a bunch of other idols were so sick that they couldn’t do the star test. if they didn’t do the test, they immediately get demoted to 0 stars. that makes what yujin did so much worse since he couldn’t take that chance.
