so we might have to do this from now on, because this was delayed due to how long the video is. It kept overheating everytime i tried making it one video and would crash my program...it was very frustrating. So it will always need to be two parts! I am now aware of how editing the show will go, which will help for future episodes and uploads! <3 So sorry this was delayed zeroses :(

Because she's a reactor? And if she sees something she doesn't like she going to say it. Like how a reactor should.

2024-02-02 18:08:24 +0000 UTCI think half of 5th gen boy groups right now is from boys planet. It’s true that not everyone should have been on the show but many lower rank trainees were extremely talented, it just didn’t fit the type of group they wanted and got edited out. Rappers and foreign trainees really ended up with the short end of the stick

The "houses", Doha and Mingyu had solid fanbases and so did Daeul. Daeul ranked in the top 9 for the first ranking. So for people who were watching the show live as the episodes came out, there actually was some belief some of the lower ranked trainees could debut

2024-02-02 03:37:41 +0000 UTCThe first rankings were broadcast at the end of the first episode. Hanbin's ranking wasn't based on the angel editing he was getting, he was voted first based on the pre show promotional material (and mnet knew that and gave him good edits based on that, not the other way around)

2024-02-02 02:52:00 +0000 UTCThere was preshow promotional content they did which is why hanbin was ranked 1st the rankings they were reacting to were not rankings based on the first episode

2024-02-01 22:42:00 +0000 UTCYay! Finally episode 2! (I'll probably add to this while I watch) Just to note, Hanbin was ranked first before episode 1 aired (the rankings they're reacting to in the beginning was from all the preshow stuff they did) so this was before people saw that glamorous edit of him. Also, quite a handful of trainees, including ZB1 members, did get better edits than other trainees. Example: notice how Yuehua K-team's audition was mainly focused on Yujin. Or here during Jiwoong's Audition; he came on with 4 other guys (they're all independent trainees), yet Mnet only gave him a backstory and the entire performance they basically zoomed in on his face and cut everyone else who performed out. Like during Mirotic, Ichan started the song STRONG yet it was Jiwoong who got a closeup (sidenote: IChan was on ILand but went by Jaebom at the time), that also cut out his adlibs in the end and Seunghwan was the one who did the crazy high note but again, they cut to audience reactions and Jiwoong's face. I'm not saying Jiwoong didn't deserve it because he is great, this is just an example of someone else who got a good edit. So its a bit unfair to say Hanbin's edit is what got him #1 when he's not the only one to benefit from good edits. Sorry! I had to say it because Hanbin is genuinely a nice guy who's not only talented and a pretty face to look at, he does deserve the rank he got and I hope you can see that throughout the show instead of constantly pausing to explain his angel edit. 26:22 The one you said was real pretty is Seowon, I think you complemented his outfit last episode too, he's precious. The audition song choices were assigned to them by the producers of the show. So if you're wondering why they performed {insert song} the answer is MNET told them to. And apparently there were a few teams who had their songs changed last minute so that could potentially be why some of the auditions weren't good because they had to scramble and prepare a new song. I believe one team who fell victim to that was the Beijing China team, they were initally assigned EXO's Love Shot but then was told to change it to "Call Me Baby" last minute so they had the least amount of time to prepare and practice. 1:11:27 Lol don't worry, everyone's basically acknowledge that as the fruity room. The guys in that room were Woongki (in yellow), Seowon (orange), Hojin (black jacket). And the one "straight" in the white jacket is Yunseo (funfact, he's Twice Nayeon's cousin) Part 2 "Where's Ollie?" I believe he was sick the day they did the re-evaluation, so he didn't participate and was automatically placed as a 0 star. This apparently happened with several trainees and a bunch of them who did participate while being sick so that likely affect their performance too. Mnet editing, they only chose to mention Yujin being sick and forming a sob story with that when in reality, ALOT of trainees were sick during the course of the show. I believe Jay said in an interview that saw something about the show and asked his company if he can audition for it. He was previously on Under19 but didn't make the final group so this was his 2nd survival show. He's currently competing on "Build Up" basically another MNet survival show that's forming a vocal group. But he did have a solo debut and debuted in the group "One Pact" with a few other Boy's Planet guys at the end of last year.
