Kyo was a future brilliant alchemist with a passion for all things magical that involved food. She had always been fascinated by the mysterious and the unknown, and her studies had led her down a path of discovery that few could match with the assistance of her Patrons. However, despite her vast knowledge and skill, there was always something missing in her work - a certain spark of the theory that she could not quite grasp. This usually resulted in explosions.

Large explosions.

Today, Kyo received an invitation to a Training Dungeon it was more of a being thrown off the cliff type of invitation, but that was to be expected from Felix. The demon blue crystal was a firm believer in progress through pressure. Training Dungeons were not unknown to Kyo, these were legendary places where aspiring alchemists and other adventuring types could hone their skills and test their abilities in a controlled environment. It was said that the most powerful people in the world had trained in such things, and she knew that this was an opportunity she could not pass up. Also, she couldn’t escape with her space magic, so it was best to make the most of the current situation.

With great anticipation, Kyo cautiously explored the Training Dungeon, her heart racing with a slight bit of panic. The first time in this place had been challenging to say the least. The space around her seemed to shift and warp as she made her way deeper into the labyrinthine corridors.

There were traps at every turn, and Kyo had to use all of her wits and knowledge to overcome them. Utilizing the understanding of space magic she shattered traps with slightly maniacal glee. Nasty traps, smash smash! No pincushioning Kyo this time!

As she progressed, Kyo encountered several monsters, each with their own unique abilities and techniques. Some were friendly and offered to share their knowledge of food, while others were hostile and sought to prove their superiority. Kyo was not deterred, she treated each monster the way she was treated. Space magic pulverized the mean ones, and for the nicer monsters, she made spatial inventories. It was always nice to share the ability to store the meat with others!

It was not long before Kyo realized that this was no ordinary Training Dungeon. She had been suspicious the first time Felix dropped her in here, but now she was certain. The space around her seemed to be alive, pulsing with energy and magic. She felt as though she had entered another world entirely, one where anything was possible. It could just be that running out of jam is causing weird colors. I should test more jams later, for sciences!

After two days of wandering around she met the creature that would change everything.

It was a fluffy, white creature, like a rabbit with eyes that shone like stars. Kyo knew immediately that this was no ordinary creature, and she approached it cautiously, unsure of what to expect. The sausage she had been nibbling on in her hands was positioned away from the rabbit. Everyone knows meat is better than vegetables!

To her surprise, the creature spoke to her in her mind in a calm soothing voice. Welcome, Kyo," it said. "I have been waiting for you.

Kyo was taken aback. "Who are you?" she asked.

"I am Mr. Nibbles, Lord of this Training Dungeon." the creature replied. "Would you care to bargain?"

Kyo was incredulous. She had never heard of a Training Dungeon Lord in any of the tales. But she felt drawn to the creature, and she knew that she could scam it. The fluffy one’s eyes hadn’t deviated from the meat she was eating even once. Fellow meat lover, fall into the trap for my survival!

And so, Kyo began her negotiation with the Dungeon Lord. She learned how to harness the power of space magic, to manipulate the fabric of reality itself even better. She increased her current tricks creating slicing blades, and shields, and improving her teleport further. Each lesson cost one sausage, but she had plenty stored due to paranoia!

The rabbit Dungeon Lord was a patient and wise teacher, and Kyo felt herself growing stronger with each passing day. It wasn’t a challenge to cut orcs down to size now in the Training Dungeon. She felt as though she had found her true calling, scamming fellow meat-loving rabbits, and she knew that she would never be the same again. As long as the meat holds out!

In the end, Kyo emerged from the Training Dungeon after Felix teleported her out with more lethal space magic usable by an alchemist. She was no longer just an alchemist, but a master of space magic, with abilities that few could match. Ingredients chopped by space magic, weighed by space scales, and prepared by spatial manipulation! She had gained a new perspective on combining space magic for combat, with alchemy! Space magic is amazing, although plant manipulation is still supreme.

And as she remembered the rabbit lord in the Training Dungeon, she knew that she would always be grateful for the lessons she had learned there. For it was in that strange and wondrous place that Kyo had found a superior method to create crystalline poison agents. She looked at Felix with dead eyes and grinned faintly. Test Subject One, spotted.
