SMUT Poll

I'm unsure how much my reader base enjoys these, so I'd like to ask for feedback.
If the majority rules they would like them in, I'll work them back in; if not, I'll keep with the way I've been going lately.
This will not affect today's chapter that I am working on finishing.

I've seen it done really well in some stories where the normal story fades to black n the actual smut part of the chapter is either put into a collapsible section or bonus post. The gist is to make it accessable to those tht want it while ensuring tht those who don't want it don't stumble upon it inadvertently

2023-03-02 17:46:28 +0000 UTCIf you feel like writing them, do so. If you don't, then don't. Just recognize that not all audiences like or appreciate them so you can lose some of your audience or never attract them in the first place. If you want to, I personally prefer them as bonus/side chapters that can add flavor to the story while not containing key plot points and therefore easy to skip or omit in a "final" copy of the story. IMO it's also difficult to include both in the same story and have it not be jarring unless it's really key to the character, setting or style.
